How to take their photo
With kids, the photo is the most important part and also the easiest to get right. We remove the background, so you can take it in the living room, the garden or at the pitch. What helps:
- Daylight, near a window or outdoors, with no direct sun on the face.
- Their team shirt, or the shirt of the team they support. It completes the effect.
- Player pose: front-on, arms crossed, serious face or a half smile. Show them a professional's card and tell them to copy the pose. They love it.
- In focus, no rush. Take several and pick the sharpest. If the photo is not good enough, we tell you before printing.
And if the card is a surprise, a recent phone photo, one from the last match or a birthday will do. What matters is that the face is clearly visible.
The stats: this is where the gift is won
Give them high numbers. Very high. A child wants to see a 91 Pace and an 88 Shooting, not a technical analysis. If they have a genuine strength, push it even higher: it is their card and their moment. For the name, the surname works well, like the professional cards, or the nickname the team calls them.
